What is CO-Extrusion Decking?
WPC Co-extruded decking, in short is a particularly high-tech decking option that boasts even higher performance than normal composite decking. WPC Co-extrusion decking is also called “capped” or “cover” decking using the latest technology co-extrusion.

What is co extruded decking?
Co-extruded decking uses the latest advanced polymer protective layer 360-degree full coverage technology to cover the surface of decking with plastic comprehensively. This means water absorption of co extruded decking is 0%. Also, co-extrusion makes decking has more vivid and deeper wood grain which can last longer time than normal WPC decking. Capped composite decking has a protective outer layer that is co-extruded to the wood-composite core during the manufacturing process. This unique cap layer contains color additives, UV inhibitors, biocides, and other ingredients to ensure your decking retains its rich, natural wood appearance without the concerns of fading, staining, mold, or mildew. What is capped composite decking?
Capped decking has many of the same properties as any other good-quality composite decking material: the boards are hard-wearing, long-lasting, and extremely resistant to rotting, splintering, and warping.
Composite decking has always provided clear advantages over pressure-treated wood decking. Early versions of composite decking, however, were uncapped, so they lacked a protective top layer to provide true stain and fade resistance. Consequently, some of these products developed mold, faded from continual UV exposure, and/or were prone to staining. All of that changed with the introduction of capped composite decking.
